Reading progression packs

Boost pupils' reading progression and increase confidence from Year 2 onwards with our dedicated Emerging, Expected and Exceeding book packs for primary schools.

Books are specifically matched to expected reading levels for each year group at Key Stage 2, and whether a child is an emerging reader, meeting the expected reading level for their year group, or exceeding it.

Our Bridging the gap pack is designed to support Year 2 pupils as they move from phonic readers to longer chapter books, with high-quality and engaging books that will encourage them to keep reading.
