Supporting English Hub schools
English Hub schools have been tasked with promoting a love of reading and to support schools in their surrounding areas in providing excellent phonics and early language teaching.
With eight decades of experience and an expert team of librarians and curriculum specialists based in-house, Peters are passionate about getting children to read for pleasure. We can also advise on the best resources to support phonics and early language development.
We can support your English Hub in the following ways:
Our librarians and curriculum specialists can help make sure you have the right books for your pupils, supporting phonics, reading programmes, curriculum, or fiction to inspire a love of reading. Want tailored advice? Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your requirements.
Building Lifelong Readers roadshows
Peters organise and host free twilight sessions for primary schools across the country, to help teachers engender a love of reading amongst their pupils. Inspirational speaker and trainer, former Head Teacher and creator of the Storysack Neil Griffiths is motivating and entertaining, with practical tips on celebrating and promoting books in school, powerful ways to model the pleasure of reading, read-aloud tips and much more.
