A simple story about an artist who tries to find a good spot to paint a picture.
An artist wants to find the perfect spot to paint. Her shed at home only has a view of bricks and she decides it's time to venture outside.
She tries by the river but the bins are too smelly; then up on a hill under a tree but the birds are too fussy; and finally in a field but there's a rock concert nearby!
Will she ever find the perfect spot? When it begins to rain, she heads back to her shed...and has a brilliant idea! Using a sheet, she is able to create her own perfect spot with some still life right in her shed.
This story is decodable at Letters and Sounds Phase 3/4.
